Fall is around the corner and the Christmas Fabrics are arriving daily.  It is not too early to begin sewing those gifts so that it doesn't pile in on us later.

Some new ones are:

   Animal Minkee, Rosebud, New Home Dec and Art Dec., red, white and blue......redwork and bluework.  Funny Farm for little boys.  Texas Tech fabric kits.  Nice blenders and lots of new red and black.

Jean's Apricot Blush quilt from Hatched in Africa is really taking shape and the blocks are just beautiful.

Our wedding and party fabrics are being closed out at 75% off.   We need this space for a new venture we have in mind.  We are going to be hookers and stripers and punchers----sounds exciting doesn't  it?

WE NEED YOUR HELP

If you would like to do some charity sewing there is a real need from Breast Cancer Awareness.  They need a small, quick denim bag and /or a small stuffed pillow to protect them from seat belts etc.  Jane Lawrence furnishes all materials that you may pick up and return to Rachaels.  Make as many as you would like at your leisure or get together with friends and make them for a feel-good day for you.  If you would like, you may come to Rachaels on any day that the classroom is available and sew alone or with  friends.  Jane would so  appreciate any help you could give her as she visits about 16 women each month and takes a bag and pillow to each one.  We have the supplies in our store now.  Thanks from Jane.
